Over the past two years we have made vast improvements to the Village Hall, not all of them visible! As a result, we are pleased to report that the calendar is getting busier and busier, so that at times it is difficult to find a vacant slot!
However, there is still a lot to do and we would value your feedback and suggestions for ways to make it even better.
Please come along on 19th May to show your support for what is fast becoming a well-used community facility in our village.
There will be refreshments!
Thanks to another generous donation from a local resident we’ve been able to purchase another four acoustic panels for the main hall. And thanks to the loan of a scaffold tower we’ve been able to fit them too! The hall is now a much less noisy space 🙂
It’s been wonderful to hear so many positive comments about all the recent improvements, and we now have regular weekly bookings for Zumba and Yoga classes as well as the long establed Villages Voices community choir – and more enquiries are in the pipeline.
We’re still looking forward to our official reopening just as soon as conditions allow!
We’re looking forward to our official reopening when conditions allow!
Ston Easton Village Hall’s AGM will be held via Zoom on Tuesday 20th April at 8pm.
A virtual meeting isn’t ideal, so we hope to have a follow-up Village Meeting and Social Event as soon as restrictions allow. This will be a better opportunity to see the progress that’s been made, and to discuss future plans.
To register your interest, and receive meeting information and Zoom login details, please email the village hall secretary:
We look forward to seeing you there on the 20th!
